- The collection includes the aptly named, award winning red Scrumptious, bred in the 1980s and regarded as one of the best modern apples from the renowned breeder Hugh Ermen. Its crisp white flesh is sweet (but not sugary) with a thinner than average skin for easy eating
- James Grieve is an RHS award winning dual purpose apple which holds its shape well when cooked and sweetens for eating straight from the tree as the season goes on. Extremely reliable and a heavy cropper.
- Nailing that perfect blend of sweet and sharp, Red Windsor is a compact and versatile variety that many consider to be the best flavoured apple of all
- Late season Braeburn Hillwell is regarded as one of the tastiest eating apples you can buy – an improved version of the popular Braeburn with better colour, flavour and suitability for the UK climate
- All of these apples are perfect for eating or cooking, crop heavily and store well – the easy way to harvest more apples for longer
- Our trees are professionally pruned before dispatching. This formative pruning can involve cutting the main leader, if the expert tree growers decide this will produce a better shaped tree. This can stop the tree becoming “leggy”, and promote stronger, bushier growth.MORE
